Coworking Nashville is an effort to create a shared workspace in Nashville to serve the community of tech and social media geeks that operate loosely under the banner of Nashville Geeks. We envision a place where developers, designers, writers and marketers come to work, collaborate, learn and socialize. If you thought BarCamp/PodCamp/Startup Weekend was a good time, imagine working in that environment everyday.
Our primary objectives for the space include:
- providing a comfortable workspace
- providing a place to hold meetups and plan events
- providing opportunities to share ideas and collaborate on projects
- providing a central place to socialize and build our community
If you're a freelancer, entrepreneur or telecommuter and think Geek Breakfast would be a great way to start every day, then this will be the space for you! Get involved by completing our survey.
We are also working with Knoxville Overground to create a similar incubator-type coworking space in Nashville for start-ups to form and launch.

There are two of us looking to open several small office/coworking sites throughout the GMA of Nashville. Our intent is to have sites that cater to small business owers by providing individual offices, one or two conference/videoteleconferencing rooms per site and a cafe for coworkers. The purpose of the offices is so that small business owners have a real street address and not a PO number. For those of you who have been/are small business owners you know that there are sometimes restrictions on using PO Boxes and return addresses for proposals.
We have a part of a building that can be used in Murfreesboro but M'boro is about 35 miles from downtown N'ville and it will take a lot of work to fix up part of the space for a cafe and offices. What is the best way to guage interest of people who would be interested in participating in something like this?
