Welcome to the Coworking Wiki!
This wiki is a massively collaborative project with thousands of coworkers, space owners, and coworking enthusiasts from around the world voluntarily contributing to make this site what it is. If you have something to contribute, just request access with a sentence or two about why you're interested in coworking and you'll be added as another volunteer who can edit the site. If you're just exploring, have a look around. The best way to learn is to poke around and explore this wiki. There is a lot of information here for space owners, catalysts, and coworkers. Enjoy.
Note: (1) This wiki platform is a bit quirky as it wasn't designed for groups this big, so it may take a few days to get you added to the system if you'd like to contribute. (2) There's no one here responsible for helping others add content, so you'll have to learn how to add content yourself. The people who built this wiki software have created useful help files and designed the platform to be intuitive, so dig in.
What is Coworking?
Coworking is redefining the way we do work. The idea is simple: that independent professionals and those with workplace flexibility work better together than they do alone. Coworking answers the question that so many face when working from home: “Why isn’t this as fun as I thought it would be?” Beyond just creating better places to work, coworking spaces are built around the idea of community-building and sustainability. Coworking spaces agree to uphold the values set forth by those who developed the concept in the first place: collaboration, community, sustainability, openness, and accessibility. Read all about it on this wiki or via the Coworking Google Group.

Coworking Visa: Your Passport around the world
The programme is to allow members of different coworking locations access to participating locations around the world. A Coworking Visa allows active members of one space, when traveling, to use another coworking space, gratis. Terms vary from space to space, with regard to hours of operation, reservation requirements, etc. Participation in the Coworking Visa is free and does not require an application or a vetting process . The only requirement is a warm welcome to those members that visit! Find a particpating coworking space or announce your space's participation
