What is Citizen Space?

We take the best elements of a coffee shop (social, energetic and, yes, coffee) and the best elements of a workspace (productive, functional) and combine them to give indie workers the chance to have their own affordable space. It’s a place to collaborate. Get creative. Inspire a fellow entrepreneur. Make business deals. Meet new people. And even get some work done.

Citizen Space is a coworking space. What that means is Citizen Space isn’t just another ‘rent a desk’ type of place. This space (and the idea of coworking) is built on the following values:

Collaboration: One of the great benefits of working in a coworking space is that you will meet all sorts of people with all sorts of knowledge.
Openness: We believe in transparency and openness. In a world where people are free, but ideas are not, only a few benefit. When ideas are free, everyone benefits. Therefore, we encourage open spaces and discussions. Sorry, no NDAs allowed.
Community: We thrive on connections and mutual support here. It is important that everyone give into as well as benefit from the strong (international) community coworking has become.
Accessibility: In order to be fully open, we must make the effort to be accessible to all. This means that we endeavor to create both a financially and a physically accessible space. We are committed to this principle and welcome feedback on how we can make it even more accessible.

Hello Coworkers,

We are pleased to announce that Options by Bowers Office Center, our coworking community, is ready to take on new members. We are located in the heart of Silicon Valley, right off the 101 freeway, on Bowers Avenue. Our bright, clean, space has lots of windows and modern furnishings including eight open workspaces and a lounge area.

Amenities include high speed Internet, telephone answering service, laser printer, fax machine, copier, private mailboxes and conference room access with free domestic calling. In addition there is a Specialty's cafe/bakery on site for tasty and convenient lunch options.
