Coworking was introduced to Philadelphia by Alex Hillman, founder of Independents Hall. Current location: 20 North 3rd Street, Unit 201 Philadelphia, PA 19106.
The second coworking institution was work/playce, a suburban coworking space.
Aliza Schlabach will be opening a coworking space in Manayunk that is geared towards parents, with on-site child care, space for parents to spend time with their kids on breaks, and more. Learn more at http://www.coworkingforparents.com.
