Lakeview Co-Work Office
I am Nick, a freelance web developer and I'm going to be starting a co-work office in Lakeview, by a red line stop (location is still being figured out) in the next month. The space will have dedicated desks, a few shared desks, conference room/area with table, chairs and wall mounted LCD TV to plug a laptop into, small kitchenette with sink, refrigerator and Kureg coffee maker, high speed internet, all utilities, and 24/7 access.
The pricing is yet to be set in stone how ever I am looking at $300/mo for a dedicated desk, $150/mo for shared floating desk and $50 for a virtual office (just an address with mailbox and use of the conference room). I am thinking a 6 month lease with 1 month security deposit, but If you are looking for something different please let me know.
Depending on the space, We will most likely have 6-8 dedicated desks and 3-4 shared available. If you are tentatively interested, please email me at lakeviewcowork@gmail.com or give me a call at (269) 929-6148.
Also, as a side note, I am stuck on a name. The Coop, Where Ideas Hatch, is just so cool and I am looking for a similar concept. If you come up with a name, slogan and logo that I end up using, you get 1/2 off your first months rent!
Thanks,
Nick Roskam

We are testing the waters for a Real Estate focused coworking environment in Chicago. We are looking for any interested parties from, realtors, brokers, investors, insurance agents and lawyers, to interior designers, staging companies, property managers, web designers, and marketers. We are looking for like minded individuals and small businesses interested in creating a company and space and a mutually beneficial community for real estate professionals. "Social networking" buzzing right now, but nothing pays off like good ole' fashioned "real" live networking. Shoot me an email if you are interested kirk@chicagohomephotography.com
http://evanstononline.com/ has a lot of office space in Evanston, and I talked with the owner and they're sympathetic to the coworking idea.
I think that something could be negociated pretty easily. If anybody is interested, I'll be at BarCamp the weekend of the 15th of July http://barcampchicago.com/ and available to discuss ideas.

Lakeview Office Co-op
You:
Looking for co-op conveniently located in the heart of Lakeview that's affordable and easily accessible by public transportation.
Me:
Have space available, looking for other people excited about the idea of an office co-op to join in!
Details:
I am working with the owner of a retail/office space located in Lakeview who has agreed to turn the space into a fully functioning co-op if there are individuals serious about using the space. It would be available immediately (once interest is generated) and the only cost associated would be the monthly desk fee. There would also be opportunity for floating desk space. My background is in marketing, events and real estate. Others who have expressed interest are interior designers, graphic designers and real estate brokers. This is a great opportunity to help shape the space as an original member.
Interested?
Please email me if you have genuine interest in this project:
