Countdown to Coworking in Tampa (Fall ’08)

If all goes as planned, Coworking in Tampa will launch this fall with a very comfortable and convenient space in the heart of downtown. The space will be shared with a local creative firm and local non-profits all working together to help foster growth and communications within Tampa’s tech and creative communities.

Preceding the grand opening, there will be Jelly session or two hosted in this space as well as opening up the doors to local community organizations, MeetUps & SIGs. This space will also be the host location for the next round of StartupMonkey Workshops. The next startup workshop is scheduled on August 21st from 6PM – 8PM. Watch this space for more details on local Jelly and workshop events.

Membership fees and overall structure are still being refined, but we will borrow the best of the best ideas from all those brave Space Owners and Mentors that have pioneered this effort in other cities to provide the most flexible and affordable plans we can accommodate in this market.

We will be starting outreach activities to the community over the next few months. If you belong to a group, especially freelance tech workers, web designers, etc. please help us promote Coworking Tampa to these folks by sending us suggestions and/or contact info.
