Sacramento needs indie working alternatives too!

I do, I do! New member here, located in Sacramento. Just last week I started researching the idea of coworking and have had some great email exchange with Alex Hillman of Independent's Hall (indyhall.org) in Philadelphia. And I'm excited about the possibility of getting something going here in Sacramento.
A bit about me: I'm a creative writing graduate student in the last semester of my program and I am also a freelance writer/editor. It's been about two weeks since I left the "real" working world and have felt an immense disconnect from the collaborative exchange that I had with fellow creative minds at my former job, which was as a magazine editor for a publishing company. Alas, no such coworking space exists in Sacramento. It's a bit daunting to think about trying to start a community as a one-woman show since it's just me right now. So. I do intend to start leveraging my network as well as expand on that network in an effort to establish a coworking community here in the state capital of California that is sometimes affectionately referred to as Sactown. In the meantime, please my goal for now is to start having regular coworking sessions so please contact me if:
Looking forward to becoming an active participating coworker! My email: jannamarlies at gmail dot com.
