Gayle Uchida is working with Coworking Coach Raines Cohen to explore setting up a space in Alameda.

Ted Tagami I am active with the SF Coworking but live in Albany. I'm looking at the perimeter of UCB currently. Would like to have something before September.

comment: actually, there is space called BunkerStudios (which I use) 4 blocks south + 3 blocks east from 16th and Mission BART. -- DmitryKohmanyuk

comment: I think Chris wrote above before CitizenSpace spun off to a not-far-from-BART location. -__- Raines, 9 May 2007__

There's a large space for rent on College Ave @ Claremont - short walk from Rockridge BART, short bus/bike ride from Cal campus: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/off/328344949.html. I might be interested in going in on this with some folks, particularly if there's someone who's willing to take the lead on turning this into a real coworking space and/or knows the legal ins and outs of doing so -- Noah on 5/10/07

My Name is Ty and my wife and I are thinking that my business would be more productive if we move it out of our home office. My business is CareerLeak. What is the next step into finding some coworkers?

Ken Sedgwick I'm interested in Albany/Berkeley/Emeryville/Oakland.

Rocky Kahn I have a one-room office suitable for 2-3 people at a time a block away from Downtown Berkeley BART. It's at 2002 Addison st. I'd consider sharing or joining another coworking situation. rocky at_sign teampatent -.- com

Erik Hopp I live in Berkeley. I am a founder and member of Quilted.org. I have another Quilted member and a roomate also interested.

Dean I need out of my basement and am interested in sharing space with web designers / marketers/ or programmers/. Does anyone have available space? Berkeley/emeryville/oakland. contact me at webmaster at organicpop (dot) com

Noah -- I live in Oakland (Rockridge) and working from home is making me a little batty. I'm a freelance tech journalist and consultant currently working for/on a couple of Web-based startups. Often work at local cafes on College ave, but would love a nicer space more dedicated to work and meeting like-minded folks. Have wide-ranging interests within work-stuff (technology and education, primarily) and beyond work-stuff (music, amongst others). Would definitely be interested in a space in Oakland or Berkeley, preferably something bigger than 2-4 desk spaces so it has a chance of developing into something of a community. Would also be interested in exploring setting up a HatFactory-esque space in the East Bay as a nonprofit or business unto itself. I'm at nk at threebase dot com.

Britt Bravo. I work from home in Oakland and would love to find a place similar to Citizen Space or the Hat Factory in Oakland where I could work a couple days a week. I'm a blogger, podcaster and nonprofit consultant. I'd love to find some women in the East Bay interested in co-working as well.

Greta: I'm a freelance journalist living in Oakland and I'm interested in finding/starting a SF Grotto/Citizen Space/Hat Factory type cowork space in Oakland/Emeryville/Berkeley or somewhere thereabouts. I'd probably only need a desk 2-3 days a week and I'd like to not pay more than $200 a month (which seems to be about the going rate, in SF at least).

Len is interested in a drop-in coworking spot in Oakland. I have a regular corporate office, but sometimes need to be closer to home, but have no home office space that is "kid proof" Anything in DT Oakland? Near Rockridge BART? 14 Sept 2007, updated 22 May 2008.

I have space available for at least 2 people in Oakland. My office is walkable to BART and also has free parking. The office is wireless, completely furnished with desks, chairs, telephones, file cabinets, printer, fax, copier, conference table and kitchenette. And it's dog friendly.
If you are interested, please call Beth at 510.393.9108 or email me at Bethd@topdogevents.com

Thank you.
